ABOUT ROBERT

Robert is a highly experienced Rolfer; having certified with the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in 2005. Leaving behind his original education (in a previous life Robert graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in International Business and Finance), Robert took the life changing decision to retrain and follow his passion for movement and helping others. His clinical work has evolved over the years and he has extensively studied the interlinking relationship between pain, trauma, and neuroscience.
Robert takes a holistic and integrated approach to movement and movement therapy, utilizing a variety of different movement repatterning therapies and modalities in his clinical practice. Robert is credited with bringing the first Brain-Move course stateside in 2016. Since this first introduction, he has been a keen advocate of the method, making instantaneous and ongoing use of Brain-Move in his own manual therapy and clinical movement work.
Robert resides and practices in Vermont. He combines Rolfing with a specific and personalized approach to address each individual’s specific relationship between their brain’s impulses, nervous system, postural positioning, and bio-mechanics. This two-way protocol, utilizes a “bottom-up” approach to manual therapy (working with the local nerves, muscles, and skin), alongside “top-down repatterning”, which allows for a more efficient response to changes and new options for movement and posture.
